1. How do you feel about Godless? Compared to your previous albums, do you feel Avenger has grown and evolved?
I feel proud of course. We did a bunch of good work and Avenger keeps on its progress still in the limits of the old good death and black metal.

2. What improvements do you feel have been made in recent years?
First of all we finally bought good instruments and it brought new and strong sounding of the band. The second point is we are really getting tied on stage thanks to very very proper practising and solving all details. Avenger is hell on stage !!

3. Are you currently involved with any other bands?
I am doing drums for Dark Storm. Otherwise Avenger is only band for all of us.

4. What is the status of the Open Hell Festival? How did you get this festival started?
We started in 1998 with very strange mix of punk HC metal festival... But we got rid of some of our partners in order to keep it metal exclusively and OHF has grown into one of the most important summer metal festivals in Czech Republic, respectively we have reached fanship of many people accross whole Europe.

5. Why do you feel it's worth all the time and effort to organize?
Why not to support the scene in a way we think its the best when people appreciate what we set for them.

6. How is the metal scene in your country? Some bands have been around a long time, but is it difficult to keep bands like yours going?
I wouldnt say keeping the band is harder or easier in CZ than anywhere else. We have very average metal scene in CZ... Its very much into grindcore as well but I give a shit. There are, though, also some normal fans, normal clubs, normal zines, normal distros and a few worthy bands... so thats OK.

7. What type of jobs do you work? Does playing in a metal band like Avenger affect society's perception of who you are?
I run my recording studio HELLSOUND and I dont fucking care what people think of me. I simply do my business and I dont need anyone to judge me or to appreciate my work (of course except my customers who understand my way of life obviously). Ramus is working on PC in a "preparation of work proccess" department in one german fabric. They accept him as a good worker and they dont comment his private life as long as he doesnt provoke with anything (he is not allowed to wear some brutal or blasphemous T-shirts etc.). Adam is proffesional souldier... so hes got an disadvantage of having short hair because of his job. But no other problems what I have heard so far.

8. It seems as though you're in touch with many metal bands around the world, do you feel a brotherhood with bands who share the same philosophies and attitudes as you do?
There are a few bands we are really close related to... such as The Stone, Negura Bunget, Mortifilia, Martyrium Christi, Ingrowing, Bizzare Embalming, Manticore, Black Witchery and a few others.

9. What do you do for fun?
Masturbation haha.... bright question

10. What plans do you have for the remainder of the year?
Later this year we will record new full lenght album. The music is finished and we are now working on a lyrical concept.
